In addition to being an avid reader and writer of post-apocalyptic fiction, I'm also a life-long gamer. Best not to ask how long that life has been, really. And when I write "games" I'm referring to the type that comes in a box, with great cover art, and that you can set on a table and play with friends or family. The kind of games that involve dice.
That's why I've asked the Great Sage, Scriptus Ridley, to review one of his (and my) favorites, Dead of Winter. It's got it all:
Post-Apocalyptic world? Check.
Ghoulish environments? Check.
Talking dogs? Oddly, yes...yes, that can happen. Oddly.
Traitors? Oh yes. Check.
Desperation? Double check.
